Is My Endurance Life for brand-new ultra runners?

Yes. That's actually who I built this for.

I specialize in helping runners prepare for a new farthest distance — whether that's your first 25K, 50K, 50 miler, 100K or 100 miler.

You don't need to already know everything about ultra running. That's the point.

What makes your training different?

I keep it stupid simple.

I don't believe complicated training automatically means better training.

The goal is to give you the training you actually need, make it realistic enough to fit your life, and help you stay consistent.

Because the plan you consistently follow is the plan that gets results.

Where should I start?

If you're still trying to figure out what ultra training actually involves, start with the free What It Actually Takes guide.

If you're ready to train on your own, the Training Guides give you a straightforward plan from 25K through 100 miles.

If you want guidance, accountability and other runners doing this with you, The Crew is where I'd point you.

What's The Crew?

The Crew is my group coaching community for trail and ultra runners.

→You get the structure and guidance of coaching without doing the entire journey alone.

→We talk training, races, fueling, problems that come up along the way, and what actually matters for getting you to the finish line.

→And because a lot of the runners are working toward their own first big distances, you're surrounded by people who actually understand what you're trying to do.

Can I really start for $20?

Yes.

If you're new to trail and ultra running, you can get the 25K and 50K training guides together for $20.

It's an easy way to start learning how I approach training without committing to coaching.

Why My Endurance Life?

Because going farther doesn't need to be complicated.

I help everyday runners finish distances they've never finished before — from their first 25K to their first 100 miler — with stupid simple training they can actually stay consistent with.

Whether you start with a training guide, join The Crew, or work with me one-on-one, the goal is the same:

Train simply. Stay consistent. Go farther.

Because we're not just training for finish lines.

We're building the fitness to say yes to whatever adventure comes next.

Hi I'm Eric

WHY I BUILT MY ENDURANCE LIFE

I love trail and ultra running because of where it can take us and what we find out about ourselves along the way.

But when you're new to this sport, it's really easy to overcomplicate it.

More miles. More workouts. More data. More opinions. And somehow you're still wondering if you're doing enough.

I think it can be a lot simpler than that.

That's why I built My Endurance Life around a stupid simple approach to training: do what matters, stay consistent, and prepare for what you're actually trying to accomplish.

But I've also learned that the training plan is only part of it.

Some of the best parts of this sport come from having people around you who get it. People you can learn from, ask questions, share the hard days with, and celebrate with when you finally do something you weren't sure you could do.

That's what I want My Endurance Life to be.

A place where everyday runners can learn how to train, find their people, and discover just how far they're capable of going.

See you on the trails,
— Eric

Simple Training. Real Community.

Go farther than you thought possible.
