Run Ramblas Challenge

Date: June 27
Location: Las Ramblas Trailhead (Directions Here)

What Is It?

A challenging 10K (6.2-mile) loop that you can complete as many times as you'd like over approximately 6 hours.

Whether you're aiming for a single loop, a marathon, or the full 50K (5 loops), this is a chance to challenge yourself, spend time on the trails, and enjoy a fun day with other runners and hikers.

Schedule

  • Start: 6:30 AM

  • Finish: Approximately 12:30 PM

Can't make the start? No problem. Feel free to join anytime during the event.

Before You Come

Please send me a quick message on Instagram if you plan on attending.

There is no registration required, but having a rough headcount helps me estimate how much water and ice to bring.

Support

This is a free, informal community event and not a sanctioned race.

Please bring your own:

  • Hydration pack, handheld, or water bottles

  • Nutrition/Food

  • Gear and supplies

  • Cup or bottle if you plan to use the water provided

No cups will be provided.

I will have:

  • Water available around Mile 3.3

  • Ice at the start/finish area

Please plan to be self-sufficient throughout the day.

Choose Your Challenge

  • 1 Loop = 10K (6.2 miles)

  • 2 Loops = 20K (12.4 miles)

  • 3 Loops = 30K (18.6 miles)

  • 4 Loops = 40K (24.8 miles)

Run, hike, walk, race, or cruise—it's completely up to you. Push yourself as hard as you want, but let's keep it fun and supportive for everyone.

Course Information

The course will be marked with ribbon to help keep everyone on route.

Trail Work Day

We'll be hosting a trail work day on June 20 to clear an overgrown section of trail and get everything ready for the event. Details will be posted on Instagram.

Important

This is not a race and there will be no official timing, aid stations, permits, medical support, or race services. Participation is completely voluntary and at your own risk.

By participating, you acknowledge that:

  • You are responsible for your own safety, health, hydration, nutrition, equipment, and decisions on the trail.

  • You understand the risks associated with trail running and hiking, including falls, weather, wildlife, terrain, and other hazards.

  • You are participating at your own risk and release the organizers and volunteers from liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this event.

Please be respectful of other trail users and know your limits.

Questions?

Send me a message on Instagram. And if you're planning to come, let me know so I can get a rough headcount for water and ice.

Looking forward to seeing you on the Trail - Eric
