Is there ONE thing that once you found it you knew you were supposed to do it?

For me it's running...

Hi, I'm Eric Schroeter. I'm a UESCA Certified ULTRA Running Coach.

Before I tell you about how and why I started My Endurance Life and became a coach, let me take you back... Way back to where my running began... You may be surprised, because it took me almost a decade to realize this is what I'm supposed to be doing.

2010 our first 13.1

My wife Jessica and I ran our first half marathon in 2010.

We had (2) goals. Run every step and Run all of it together.

It was HARD!! Super HARD!!

Shoot! Before we started training we hadn't run on purpose since High School.

Long Story Short... We did it! And then we didn't run for another 7 years...

"Mom, Dad... I want to

run a marathon"

The words that forever changed my life!

When my daughter was in 7th grade she ran her first marathon with a program through her school called SRLA (Students Run Los Angeles)

8th grade year she wanted to do it again. But because of some "technicalities" she couldn't participate in SRLA again.

She was CRUSHED.

I prayed about it and it was certain that I was going to train and run it with her.

So that's what we did. Every day for 6 months I got to run with my 13 year old daughter. And Yes! We ran the LA Marathon together!

Hello Trails, Hello ULTRA

As we were training I started really enjoying running.

Once I got to a fitness level to where it was more exciting to see how far I could go than it was afraid of how sore I was going to be.

Running changed my Life.

I started searching for other local races around our house.

I found a Trail Half Marathon. Signed up and the rest is history.

I found My Jam!

After the marathon I ran trail 90% of the time. Got stronger, and even more curious of how far I could go.

Signed up for a 50K and it got cancelled because of Covid.

BUT that didn't stop me! I continued my training. Made my own 50K loop in my local trails and did it!

Now I'm an Avid Trail and Ultra Runner!

Which brings me to My Endurance Life!

As I was training for my first 100miler I started documenting on YouTube. It got a small following which was encouraging.

Then I thought about different ways I could share my love of running with people to inspire them!

Because I believe you can do so much more than you give yourself credit for.

I officially started My Endurance Life on Facebook™️ in October of 2022. And was blown away by the growth and eagerness of the members to become better runners.

I created my own template trainings, surveyed the group and went live every week for a year to see how to best serve them.

Along the way I took and passed the UESCA Ultra Running Certification to ensure that I was helping people correctly.

Because what works for me might not work for you.

So here we are. I love helping. I offer training guides from 5k-100k and Group Coaching.

Because I believe in community.
